Accredited Stakeholder Organisation (ASO) in ECHA.

This membership grants us official status to actively participate in EU decision-making processes related to chemical substance regulation. This is crucial for the sea salt sector, as it allows us to influence regulations affecting sea salt, such as the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR, Regulation (EU) No 528/2012). By having a direct voice at ECHA, we can defend our members’ interests and ensure that regulations are fair, viable, and based on the best available scientific evidence.

Expert Group EU Agri-Food Chain Observatory (E03949).

Our participation in the EU Agri-Food Chain Observatory’s Expert Group (E03949) puts us at the center of discussions on the European food sector’s key trends and challenges. EU Blue Economy Observatory — Community of Practice (CoP)

The CoP of the EU Blue Economy Observatory, coordinated by the European Commission’s DG MARE and Joint Research Centre, connects us with over 60 experts across 16 EU countries working to strengthen data on the blue economy. It lets us contribute our expertise on sea salt production to this network
