SEASALT Europe will take part in the Canary Islands Sea Salt Producers Conference, held in Lanzarote on 17–18 September 2026.
The two-day event will bring together salt producers, researchers, technical experts and institutional representatives to discuss the professionalisation of the sea salt sector, training, innovation, heritage and the challenges and opportunities facing traditional salt production.
17/09/2026 | 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Lidia Aldeguer, Technical Advisor at SEASALT Europe, will represent the association in the round table “Challenges and Opportunities for the Salt Sector”, sharing the discussion with representatives from the Canary Islands Institute for Agri-Food Quality (ICCA), Red IPAISAL, Universidad Pontificia Comillas, the University of Cádiz and the salt-producing sector.
The programme will also include a guided visit to the Salinas de Janubio, as well as sessions dedicated to innovation and the interpretation and promotion of traditional saltworks heritage.
