Honorary Member 2026: Antonio Escribano Zafra

SEASALT Europe is proud to name Dr. Antonio Escribano Zafra as its Honorary Member for 2026.

Dr. Antonio Escribano Zafra is a specialist in Endocrinology and Nutrition and in Sports and Physical Education Medicine, as well as Extraordinary Professor of Sports Nutrition and Director of the International Chair of Sports Nutrition (UCAM-Murcia). He has led the nutrition department for more than twenty football clubs and numerous athletes across Spain and Europe, and has delivered over 800 lectures on nutrition, sport, and healthy habits at scientific events worldwide.

We honour him in recognition of his professional career, dedicated to promoting healthy eating and healthy lifestyle habits, and his contributions to the biochemical evaluation of salt within human nutrition.
